Google began publishing changelogs for the Google Play System Updates it distributes to Android devices at the end of last year (phones, watches, TVs, and tablets). The addition of a changelog for these updates is significant since, for the first several years, we had no idea what was contained in them. They were a mystery, which is unsurprising given their impact on nearly every Android device.

The world first became aware of these changelogs a week ago when a January update was released. The update detailed ten changes to your Android device, ranging from essential fixes to system management tweaks and Google Play Store enhancements. Google updated the January update page today to include an additional ten items that will be available via Google Play Services and the Google Play Store.
